Steve Mitchell is a Principal Quality Engineer/Auditor with SJM Associates. He supports both Manufacturing and Service Industry clients with the transfer of technology, Quality Systems solutions, Auditing, design and implementation of Lean Enterprise, and Manufacturing Technology. Mr. Mitchell is a sanctioned instructor for the Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) where he conducts seminars and Auditing on all quality disciplines including ISO 9001:2008, TS-16949:2009, ISO 14001, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, Effective Problem Solving, Special Process Auditing and MSA. As a RABQSA Principal Auditor Steve also supports Ford Motor Company, General Motors University, Chrysler Quality Institute, the General Physics Training Institute. When he is not conducting seminars in the Quality arena, Steve also provides training and consulting for automotive, aerospace and agriculture in GDT, Project Management and other engineering tools on a worldwide basis. He has been successful in assisting many service and manufacturing suppliers in the implementation of QS-9000, ISO/TS-16949, ISO 9000, ISO 14001, and ISO 13485 Quality Management Systems. Prior to supporting the manufacturing and service industry as an independent trainer/consultant Steve was a Quality/Reliability Engineer and manager for Tooling and Equipment suppliers to numerous manufacturing industries. Steve has conducted seminars and consulting sessions in The United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, China, Singapore, France, Sweden, The Czech Republic, and Great Britain.
